Create Option

These are the product variant options that you want to provide your customers.

Step #1

To start with, go to Options in the app and select the Create Option button.

Step #2

Fill up the information fields to create the option. Here, in this field, you are allowed to add different types of inputs, and this app has differentiated the input options into Single inputs, Choice lists, Static text, and Size Charts.

[A] Single Inputs

1. Textbox Option

Suppose you want to allow your customers to customize their products by adding text on their ordered products, for which you need to add a text box where your customers can add the text they want to add.

• Assign Name to Option - This is the name of your created option.

• Select Option Type - As we want customers to add customized text to their product, we have selected the Textbox option type.

• Placeholder Text - This is the text that will be visible in the textbox before the customer enters any specific text.

• Required Field - Select if you want to make this field mandatory or not.

Save the option creation, and it will be added to your default product.

1. Textarea

When you want to allow your customers to enter a customized message for the admin, add some other details about the order.

• Select Option Type - Select the type of option you want to add to your website for your customers.

• Assign Name to Option - Assign a name to this field for your customers to know what this field is about.

• Label Text - Set a text that will be visible in the textbox before the customer enters any specific text.

• Required Field - Select your desired option, whether you want to mandate this field or not.

1. Number

If you want to allow your customers to engrave any numbers on their selected products, then this field will be very helpful.

• Assign Name to Option - Set a name to this field for your customers to know what this field is about.

• Label Text - Set a text that will be visible in the textbox before the customer enters any specific text.

• Required Field - Select your desired option, whether you want to mandate this field or not.

1. Phone Number

If you want your customers to add any additional phone number other than the customer's registration number.

• Assign Name to Option - Set a name to this field for your customers to know what this field is about.

• Label Text - Set a text that will be visible in the textbox before the customer enters any specific text.

• Required Field - Select your desired option, whether you want to mandate this field or not.

1. Email

When you want to allow, your customers to add additional email addresses other than the one that was added while login or registration.

• Assign Name to Option - Set a name to this field for your customers to know what this field is about.

• Label Text - Set a text that will be visible in the textbox before the customer enters any specific text.

• Required Field - Select your desired option, whether you want to mandate this field or not.

1. File

Suppose you want to allow your customers to upload a file from their phone storage for multiple purposes like design reference, color reference, etc. In such cases, you can add this block to your product pages.

• Assign Name to Option - Set the name of the field to be displayed on your product page.

• Select Option Type - Select the option type you want to make available for your customers.

• Label Text - Enter the text you want to display on your page whenever the field is not selected.

• Required Field - Select your desired option, whether you want to mandate this field or not.

1. Date And Time

If you want to allow your customers to give a date and time, this field is highly beneficial.

• Assign Name to Option - Set the name of the field to be displayed on your product page.

• Select Option Type - Select the option type you want to make available for your customers.

• Label Text - Enter the text you want to display on your page whenever the field is not selected.

• Required Field - Select your desired option, whether you want to mandate this field or not.

1. Date

This field allows your customers to specify the exact delivery date.

• Assign Name to Option - Set the name of the field to be displayed on your product page.

• Select Option Type - Select the option type you want to make available for your customers.

• Label Text - Enter the text you want to display on your page whenever the field is not selected.

• Required Field - Select your desired option, whether you want to mandate this field or not.

1. Time

This field will allow customers to give a specified time.

• Assign Name to Option - Set the name of the field to be displayed on your product page.

• Select Option Type - Select the option type you want to make available for your customers.

• Label Text - Enter the text you want to display on your page whenever the field is not selected.

• Required Field - Select your desired option, whether you want to mandate this field or not.

1. Color Picker

This field will allow your customers to select a particular color of which they want to have their desired product.

• Assign Name to Option - Set the name of the field to be displayed on your product page.

• Select Option Type - Select the option type you want to make available for your customers.

• Label Text - Enter the text you want to display on your page whenever the field is not selected.

1. Color Swatches

If you offer your products in specific colors only, then this field is very handy for your customers to know the products' availability in those colors.

• Assign Name to Option - Set the name of the field to be displayed on your product page.

• Label Text - Enter the text you want to display on your page whenever the field is not selected.

• Option Values - Configure the color options in this section.

• Set Default Value - Select a default color option, which will be pre-selected automatically when the customer lands on your product page.

1. Checkbox Option

Suppose you want to know the age range of your customers for specific products for your further marketing strategies. This checkbox option can help you with that.

• Assign Name to Option - Set the name of the option field.

• Select Option Type - As per our example, we will select the checkbox option to make it more convenient for customers to select the right choice.

• Label (Placeholder) Text - Enter the text you want to display for your option field.

• Option Values - Enter the option values (age range) in the fields. (You can add as many fields as you want.)

• Set Default Value - Select the default value from the dropdown of your entered option values that you want to be pre-selected for your customers when they land on your product page.

1. Radio Button

These radio buttons are interface elements that allow users to select only one of the options and automatically uncheck the previously selected option. This button is highly useful in cases when you want to know your customers' gender.

• Assign Name to Option - Set the name of the field. E.g., Gender.

• Select Option Type - Select what kind of option field you want to put for your customers.

• Placeholder Text - Enter a text which will be visible to the users when they land on this page.

• Option Values - Create the option values you want to make available for your customers.

• Set Default Value - Select the default value, which will be pre-selected when the user visits the page.

1. Dropdown Option

Dropdown options are used in a majority of use cases. This option eliminates the need to enter any information in a detailed manner by providing them with the most common answers in the dropdown options. Suppose, in this case, you want to provide your customers with the gift-wrapping option.

• Assign Name to Option - Name this field to know the field purpose.

• Select Option Type - Choose the type of option you want to provide to your customers.

• Label (Placeholder) Text - Enter the text to show in the dropdown box when neither of the options is selected.

• Option Values - Create the option values according to your requirements.

• Set Default Value - Select the option value from your created options to set as the default value.

[C] Static Text

1. Static Paragraph

If you want to deliver crucial information about the product to your customers by displaying a piece of text on its page, this static paragraph field is the best feature.

• Assign Name to Option - Name this field to know the field purpose.

• Label (Placeholder) Text - Enter the text to show in the dropdown box when neither of the options is selected.

• Write your static note here - Enter the static note in the given field that you want to display on your product page for your products.

1. HTML

If you want to cover any detailed information about the product or any further information about your store or regarding this product, but incorporating the data in the static paragraph can make it more longer, inserting this HTML section can help you save much space on your page.

• Assign Name to Option - Name this field to know the field purpose.

• Write your HTML code - Enter the HTML code in the given field that you want your customers to be redirected to when selecting.

After creating all the required options for your customers, the list of all your created options will be displayed in the option list.

Once you have saved all your settings, all these fields will be added to your page.
