# Product Limit

This is the functionality that allows you to set purchase limits on individual products falling under the collection you have set the limits on.

To apply min & max quantity limits to individual products under collection, follow the following procedure.

#### <mark style="color:blue;">Step #1</mark>

Go to **Collection Limit** <mark style="color:blue;">➤</mark> **Product Limit** <mark style="color:blue;">➤</mark> **Add Limit**

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step #2**</mark>

A pop-up of adding limits to collections.

Your saved limits will be shown on the main page of the **Product Limit** in the collections category.

Don't forget to hit the ***Sync*** button after saving the applied limits.&#x20;

This button ensures that the new products added in the future will follow the same applied limits.

Without syncing, the limit will not apply to the new products.

Suppose you have set the following limits for products under the **Footwear Collection.**

Let's understand it with a few use cases.

<mark style="color:purple;">**Case #1**</mark>

If a customer wants to buy **5** quantities **of Liberty Men's Sneaker** and **5** quantities of **BRUTON Men Sport Shoes,** the customer will be <mark style="color:red;">**restricted**</mark> from making this purchase as it has violated the above-mentioned minimum purchase limits.

The app will not let you buy less than the limit set. If you select the minus button to reduce the quantity, the error message will be displayed, and the quantity will be set the same as the set limits again.

<mark style="color:purple;">**Case #2**</mark>

A customer wants to buy ***10 pieces of The StormWalker Snowboard*** **AND** ***10 pieces of The SummitFlow Snowboard***.

<mark style="color:green;">**The customer will be able to complete the purchase as the minimum limit condition of 10 is fulfilled.**</mark>
