General Settings
1. App Status
Before using WhatsApp Notifications, you need to make sure the app is active.
When you open the WhatsApp Notification settings, you will see an App Status section.
If the status shows Success – Enabled, it means the feature is working properly.
If it is not enabled, you must activate the app first to start using WhatsApp notifications.
Only after the app is enabled will messages start being sent to customers.
2. Select Number Region
You must select the correct country region for your WhatsApp number.
For example:
🇺🇸 United States
If your business operates in the United States, you should use a US-based WhatsApp number. This helps in:
Better message delivery
Faster routing
More reliable notifications
Always select the region that matches your WhatsApp number.

3. Select Message Language
This option allows you to choose the language in which your customers will receive WhatsApp messages.
The default language is English
You can select any available language from the dropdown
All automatic notifications, like order updates and reminders, will be sent in the language you choose here.

4. Customer Care Number
In this field, you need to enter your business WhatsApp support number.
This number will be shown to customers in WhatsApp messages so they can contact you directly.

Important Points:
The number must be a valid WhatsApp number
Always include the country code
Use this format:
Example: +911234567890
5. Admin Notification Contact Number
This is the WhatsApp number where you (the store admin) will receive important notifications.
For example:
New order alerts
Customer messages
System notifications
You must enter a valid phone number with a country code.
Example format: +911234567890
Without a correct number here, admin notifications cannot be delivered.

6. Review Reminder Days
This setting allows you to automatically ask customers for reviews after they receive their order.
You can decide how many days the reminder should be sent.
How it works:
If you set 5 days, the customer will receive a WhatsApp message asking for a review 5 days after the order.
You can change this number anytime based on your business needs.

Sending a Custom WhatsApp Message to a Customer
Apart from automatic notifications, you can also send manual messages to any customer.
Follow these simple steps:
Open your Shopify admin panel
Go to Orders
Click on the order of the customer you want to message
On the right side, click More actions
Select Send Custom Message Chatbot
After clicking this option, the WhatsApp Templates screen will open
Choose the template you want to send from the available list (such as Order Place, Order Delivered, Feedback Request, etc.)
Click the Send button next to the selected template
The message will be sent instantly to the customer on WhatsApp
This feature helps you communicate personally with customers whenever needed.
