No. of Product Limit

To apply min & max quantity limits to a number of products under collection, follow the following procedure.

Step #1

Go to Collection Limit ➤No. of Product Limit ➤ Add Limit

Step #2

You will be redirected to the Collections section of your Shopify store backend.

Click to Zoom-in

Select the collection that you want to set the limits on and then add the limits in their respective fields.

Unlike the previous option, Product Limit, your customers would be able to buy products randomly according to the applied limits rule, regardless of product variants.

Suppose you have 2 products in the Snowboard collection - The 3p Fulfilled Snowboard and The Videographer Snowboard, and you've set the following limits for that collection.

Collection Title	Min Limit	Max Limit	Future Limit Qty
Snowboards	10	20	5

Now, if any customer wants to buy any product from the Snowboard collection, they can buy ANY min 10 or max 20 products from that collection.

Case #1

If a customer wants to buy only 2 of The SummitFlow Snowboard and 5 of The StormWalker Snowboard, the purchase will be restricted because the min limit = 10.

Case #2

If a customer wants to buy 7 of The SummitFlow Snowboard AND 3 of The StormWalker Snowboard.

The customer can complete the purchase as the number of products purchased by him is within the limit range.

Case #3

If a customer wants to buy 15 of The SummitFlow Snowboard AND 10 of The StormWalker Snowboard.

Then, it will be restricted as the total number of products becomes 25, which has exceeded the max purchase limit of 20.
