# Unique Customer Passcodes

The **Unique Customer Passcodes** feature allows merchants to assign individual passcodes to customers for accessing restricted areas of the store. Passcodes can be assigned manually or imported in bulk using a CSV file.

#### Key Features

* Create unique passcodes for individual customers.
* Add customers manually or import them in bulk using a CSV file.
* Send passcodes directly to customers via email.
* Supports passcodes with a minimum of 4 characters and a maximum of 16 characters.

### Add Customer Manually

Use this option to assign a passcode to a specific customer individually.

#### Steps:

1. Select **Add Customer Manually**.
2. Search and select the customer from your Shopify customer list.
3. The customer's email address will populate automatically.
4. Enter a unique passcode.
5. Click **Save Customer**.

The customer can now use this passcode to access the restricted content.

### Import Customers via CSV

Use this option to create passcodes for multiple customers at once.

#### Steps:

1. Select **Import CSV**.
2. Export your Shopify customers list.
3. Add a **Passcode** column to the file and enter a unique passcode for each customer.
4. Upload the updated CSV file.
5. The system will import the customers and their associated passcodes.

#### CSV Import Guidelines

* Do not modify the existing column headers (customer\_id, name, email, passcode).
* Maximum **500 customers** can be imported in a single upload.
* Each passcode must be unique.
* The **Passcode** column is mandatory.
* Passcodes must contain between **4 and 16 characters**.

Once customers and passcodes have been added, merchants can send passcodes directly to customers via email using the **Send Passcodes** feature.

This allows customers to receive their access credentials quickly and securely.
