# Settings

This is the page that allows you to configure additional settings.

1. **Display RFQ button for**

<figure><img src="/files/dTTRkZ8KB5evftjC8QN5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Select to which customers you want to display the RFQ button

* All customer
* logged-in customers
* Guest customers
* Customers with tags

#### 2. Disable Options

This section is used to **control whether customers can add products to the cart, proceed to checkout, and whether product prices should be displayed** when using the RFQ feature.

#### Step 1: Open Disable Options

You will see two main settings:

1. **Disable Add to Cart / Checkout**
2. **Hide Price**

<figure><img src="/files/cFOdQOPuEdLUGSiRh7iF" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 2: Disable Add to Cart / Checkout

Enable:

**“Disable Add To Cart / Checkout button on the product page”**

When enabled, the **Add to Cart / Checkout button is disabled on the product page**.

**Why use it?**\
This is useful for stores that want customers to request a quotation instead of directly purchasing the product.

**Example:**\
A B2B store sells products with prices that depend on quantity. Instead of allowing the customer to directly add the product to the cart, the merchant can disable the normal purchase option and encourage the customer to **Request a Quote**.

#### Step 3: Hide Price

The **Hide price** setting provides different options for controlling product-price visibility.

#### **Option 1: No, Do not hide price**

The product price will remain visible normally.

**Use when:**\
The merchant wants to use the RFQ feature but still wants customers to see product prices.

#### **Option 2: Yes, hide price for all products**

The price will be hidden for **all products** in the store.

**Example:**\
A wholesale store doesn't want to publicly display product prices. Customers must submit an RFQ to receive pricing.

**Why use it?**\
Useful for B2B, wholesale, or customized-price stores.

#### **Option 3: Yes, hide price for quoted products**

The price will be hidden **only for products where the RFQ button is displayed**, based on the Products / Collections rules.

**Example:**

* Product A → RFQ enabled → Price hidden
* Product B → RFQ not enabled → Price remains visible

**Why use it?**\
This gives merchants more control instead of hiding prices throughout the entire store.

#### **Option 4: Yes, hide price for specific products**

The merchant can choose **specific products** for which the price should be hidden.

**Example:**\
A store has 100 products, but only 10 products require quotation-based pricing. The merchant can hide the price only for those 10 products.

**Why use it?**\
Useful when only selected products require custom pricing.

#### Step 4: Replace Price with Custom Text

After choosing a price-hiding option, the merchant can enter custom text in:

**“Replace price with custom text”**

For example:

> **Contact us for pricing**

or

> **Request a Quote**

Instead of showing the actual price, customers will see the custom message.

**Example customer view:**

**Before:**\
`₹5,000`

**After:**\
`Contact us for pricing`

#### **3. Offer Price, Automatic Quote, Quote Deadline & Exclude Products**

The **Settings** section provides additional configuration options to enhance your Request for Quote (RFQ) workflow. You can allow customers to submit their own offer price, automatically send quotations, define quote expiration periods, and restrict the RFQ button for specific countries.

### How to Configure

### Offer Price

The **Offer Price** feature allows customers to enter their preferred price while submitting a quote request. Merchants can review the offered price and either accept it or send a counter offer.

#### Step 1: Enable Offer Price

Enable the **Allow customers to offer price** option.

Once enabled, customers will see an **Offer Price** field in the RFQ form.

#### How It Works

* Customers can enter their preferred price while submitting a quote request.
* The offered price is displayed in the RFQ request details.
* Merchants can either:

  * Accept the offered price.
  * Send a counter offer with a different price.

### Automatic Quote

The **Automatic Quote** feature automatically sends a quotation email using the product's default price immediately after a customer submits an RFQ request.

<figure><img src="/files/H3Ew2Rd36X2MSK4v7wH3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 3: Enable Automatic Quote

Enable the **Enable automatic quote to send default product prices** option.

#### How It Works

Once enabled, customers receive an automatic quotation email containing the product's default price immediately after submitting the RFQ request. No manual approval is required to send the initial quotation.

### Quote Deadline

The **Quote Deadline** feature allows you to define the validity period for pending quotes.

<figure><img src="/files/dYeIvlHFu5YNvt2c7r82" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 4: Enable Quote Deadline

Enable the **Enable quote deadline** option.

Enter the number of days in the **Deadline (days)** field.

#### How It Works

The submitted quote will remain active for the configured number of days. If no action is taken within the specified period, the pending quote will automatically expire.

### Exclude Products

The **Exclude Products** feature allows you to hide the **Request for Quote** button for customers visiting your store from selected Shopify Markets (countries).

<figure><img src="/files/EpfPTs2869N6EhSZrFXP" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 5: Select Countries to Exclude

Click **Select countries to exclude** and choose the countries where the RFQ button should remain hidden.

#### How It Works

Customers browsing your storefront from the selected countries will not see the **Request for Quote** button for eligible products.

> Note:
>
> * Offer Price is displayed in the RFQ form only when the feature is enabled.
> * Automatic Quote sends the product's default price immediately after an RFQ request is submitted.
> * Quote Deadline applies only to pending quotes. Expired quotes must be resubmitted by the customer if required.
> * Exclude Products hides the RFQ button only for customers visiting from the selected countries. Customers from other countries will continue to see the Request for Quote button.
