# Build RFQ Form

The **Build RFQ Form** section allows you to create and customize the RFQ form that customers will use to submit quote requests. You can select a template, configure the form fields, add security settings, customize the submit button, and define the success message.

### Step 1: Open Build RFQ Form

1. Open the **RFQ Request Quote & Hide Price** app from your Shopify admin.
2. From the left-side app menu, click **Build RFQ form**.
3. The **Build RFQ form** page will open.

## Step 2: Select the Form Language

At the top of the **Build form** section, you will find the language dropdown.

#### Language

Select the language in which you want to configure the RFQ form.

For example:

**English**

The selected language determines the language version of the RFQ form you are currently editing.

## Step 3: Select an RFQ Template

Under the **Template** section, you can select the design of your RFQ form.

Three templates are available:

* **Basic** – A simple and straightforward layout.
* **Modern** – A more modern arrangement of the RFQ form.
* **Viktor** – A structured layout for displaying the form and product information.

#### How to select a template

1. Click the template you want to use.
2. The selected template will be highlighted.
3. Check the **Preview** section on the right.
4. The preview will show how the selected template will appear to customers.

#### Basic:

#### Example

If you select **Basic**, the preview will display the RFQ form using the Basic layout.

You can try each template and select the one that best suits your store.

## Step 4: Add the RFQ Form Title

After selecting the template, configure the form title.

#### Title

Enter the title that you want to display at the top of the RFQ form.

**Example:**

`Request a Quote`

This title helps customers understand that they are submitting a request for a quotation.

## Step 5: Add a Form Description

#### Description

Enter additional information or instructions that you want customers to see on the RFQ form.

**Example:**

`Submit your requirements and our team will get back to you with a customized quote.`

You can use this field to explain what customers should do before submitting their request.

## Step 6: Configure Form Fields

The RFQ form contains customer information fields that can be displayed to customers.

In your screenshot, the available fields include:

* **First Name**
* **Last Name**
* **Your Email**
* **Phone number**
* **Any comments or suggestions?**

Each field has an **Edit** option, allowing you to customize the field.

Some fields also have a **Delete** option if you don't want to display them.

### Step 7: Edit a Form Field

To modify a field:

1. Find the field you want to change.
2. Click the **Edit** icon next to the field.
3. Configure the available field settings.
4. Save the field configuration.

For example, you can edit the **First Name** field according to your requirements.

## Step 8: Add Additional Fields

Click the **Add fields** button to add additional information fields to your RFQ form.

This allows you to collect additional information from customers that may be required to prepare a quotation.

#### Example

If you need additional information from customers, you can add a custom field such as:

**Custom Field:** Company Name

This allows the merchant to collect the customer's company information along with the RFQ.

## Step 9: Enable Google reCAPTCHA

The RFQ form also provides a security option to help prevent spam submissions.

#### Enable Google reCAPTCHA

Enable the **Enable Google reCAPTCHA** checkbox.

After enabling it, you need to configure the required Google reCAPTCHA information.

## Step 10: Configure Google reCAPTCHA

After enabling reCAPTCHA, enter the required API information.

The app provides a **here** link where you can obtain the required Google reCAPTCHA API credentials.

#### reCAPTCHA Type

The screenshot indicates that the app uses:

**reCAPTCHA type: v2 Checkbox**

This adds a reCAPTCHA checkbox to the RFQ form to help prevent automated or spam submissions.

## Step 11: Add Privacy Text

#### Privacy text

Enter the privacy-related text that you want to display on the RFQ form.

**Example:**

`By submitting this form, you agree to our Privacy Policy.`

This helps inform customers about how their submitted information is handled.

## Step 12: Add Privacy Link

#### Add privacy link

Enter the link to your store's Privacy Policy page.

This allows customers to access your privacy policy from the RFQ form.

**Example:**

Your store's Privacy Policy page.

## Step 13: Customize the Submit Button

#### Submit button

Enter the text that you want to display on the RFQ form's submission button.

**Example:**

`Submit`

You can change this text according to your requirements.

Other possible examples:

* `Send Request`
* `Request a Quote`
* `Submit Request`

## Step 14: Select the Success Message Type

After a customer submits the RFQ form successfully, you can choose how the success message should be displayed.

#### Select success message type

Use the dropdown to select the preferred success message display type.

In your screenshot, the selected option is:

**Pop-up model**

This means the success message is displayed in a pop-up after the form is successfully submitted.

## Step 15: Configure the Success Message

#### Success message (Modal)

Enter the message that customers should see after successfully submitting the RFQ form.

**Example:**

`Form successfully saved`

You can replace this with a more customer-friendly message, such as:

`Your quote request has been submitted successfully. We will contact you shortly.`

## Step 16: Check the Preview

The **Preview** section on the right side allows you to see how your RFQ form will look.

Check the preview after making your changes to verify:

* Template layout
* Form title
* Description
* Customer fields
* Product information
* Quantity
* Offer price
* Comments
* Submit button

## Step 17: Save Your Changes

After completing all configurations, click **Save** at the top of the page.

This will apply your RFQ form configuration.

### Example Configuration

For example, you can configure your RFQ form as follows:

| Language             | English                                                   |
| Template             | Basic                                                     |
| Title                | Request a Quote                                           |
| Description          | Submit your requirements and receive a customized quote.  |
| Customer Fields      | First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number                |
| Comments             | Enabled                                                   |
| Google reCAPTCHA     | Enabled                                                   |
| reCAPTCHA Type       | v2 Checkbox                                               |
| Privacy Text         | By submitting this form, you agree to our Privacy Policy. |
| Submit Button        | Send Request                                              |
| Success Message Type | Pop-up model                                              |
| Success Message      | Your quote request has been submitted successfully.       |

> #### Note
>
> * The **Preview** section updates according to your form configuration.
> * You can edit or remove available fields according to your requirements.
> * Use **Add fields** when you need to collect additional information from customers.
> * Google reCAPTCHA is useful for reducing spam submissions.
> * Make sure the privacy text and privacy link point customers to the appropriate privacy information.
> * Click **Save** after completing the configuration.
